Mouse Tweaks focuses on one narrow part of Minecraft: Java Edition—the amount of clicking required to manage inventories. Its main features extend right-click dragging, add left-click drag behaviors and let the mouse wheel move items between compatible inventories.
RMB Tweak: repeated placement while dragging
The right-mouse-button tweak is similar to vanilla RMB dragging, but revisiting the same slot can place another item there. That small difference is useful when you want to distribute items unevenly or make another pass over a crafting layout without releasing the mouse button.
LMB Tweak with an item
When you hold an item and drag with the left mouse button, Mouse Tweaks can collect or move matching item stacks. The exact action depends on the inventory state and modifier keys, but the goal is the same: reduce repeated single-slot clicks.
LMB Tweak without an item
With the appropriate modifier, dragging across multiple occupied slots can perform shift-click style transfers. This is useful when moving many stacks into or out of a chest, machine or other compatible container.
Wheel Tweak and direction settings
Wheel Tweak lets scrolling push or pull items between inventories. Mouse Tweaks also includes settings for search order and scroll direction, so users can invert the default action or choose behavior that responds to inventory position.
When the features may not apply
Mouse Tweaks works best with inventory screens based on Minecraft’s standard container-screen systems. A mod that substantially rewrites a GUI or mouse handling can partially override the expected behavior. If one custom interface does not respond, test a vanilla inventory before assuming Mouse Tweaks failed entirely.
